The Marbled Lacquer Fan Workshop combines traditional Chinese aesthetics with modern creativity. Participants will learn how to create flowing patterns on the water surface and transfer the unique designs onto a round fan, making their own one-of-a-kind artwork.

Before the hands-on activity begins, we will briefly introduce the cultural meaning of the round fan and the artistic features of marbled lacquer. In Chinese culture, the round fan symbolizes reunion, elegance, and good wishes, while the marbling process highlights the beauty of flowing colors and natural patterns. Through this creative experience, participants can appreciate the charm of traditional Chinese objects while expressing their imagination and creativity.
